Students reach the next level when they work with someone who understands their needs, who’s available and honestly cares about their goal. That kind of support goes a long way, especially with chemistry, as it tends to be elusive and hard to master.
In most cases, that kind of help isn't available at school. Teachers already have a full classroom to manage and are generally swamped with tasks. Maybe you've already thought of finding a local Blackwood chemistry tutor for your child, but you didn't know where to start and what to look out for.
We can help.
This is what we do. We organise one-on-one tutoring in your home, at a time that's most convenient for you. You choose what the tutor covers and how often they come. Not quite sure what your child needs to learn? No need to worry, we'll figure it out.
We charge a simple hourly fee and last but not least, in case you don't like the first lesson - we consider it a trial and match you with another Blackwood chemistry tutor.
We've seen it time and time again, all it takes for a student to start trying again is that one aha moment.
The right tutor can get your child there.
Give it a try!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Fin has continued to apply the strategies introduced to him throughout our time together. He has particularly been doing well in showing all working out, especially when trying to problem solve towards an answer. Doing this has allowed him to back check to avoid prior mistakes.
Josh is actively looking to improve his academic performance in mathematics, and this shows through his attitude and effort put in the sessions. He almost always has all his material and completes his homework and extra tutoring quizzes.
Over the classes, I have noticed that Bethany needs a rule or example to solve other questions. However, she needs to understand the questions that she is doing so she will not need an example for another question. In maths, each question is different however the general concepts are the same. We will continue to work at this, which should then improve her test results.
Both Amber and myself are very happy with the first two lessons Kamen has given. He has a great way of making Amber at ease with the learning process and we look forward to seeing her maths improve.
Ben continues to have great rapport with Kai and I think he even looks forward to the lessons which I can tell give him much more confidence.
Sarah is finding the tutoring with Shabana very helpful. Sarah has has three tutoring sessions and Shabana has been explaining concepts or questions which Sarah found confusing. I really like the way Shabana interacts with Sarah and how she keeps reminding her about the importance of practising.
