Learning Chemistry feels like learning a new language. It's hard in the beginning, you don't know what to look out for and even though you recognise things here and there that doesn't mean you can read a formula, let alone understand it. It's one of those subjects where it clicks or it just doesn't. Tutors we work with understand that. They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping...
They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping others do the same. They know the pitfalls, where to spend that extra hour and what you need to memorise before you can completely understand a concept.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
He has been learning really well, working hard, see a lot of improvements in regards to attention to details, etc. Dylan does questions proactively and seeks help instead of me telling him what to do.
Kiran and Amani are very bright girls who work hard and enthusiastically and it is a pleasure to tutor them! If I could suggest anything it would be to be even more confident in talking to me or each other if they have a problem, so that a resolution can be easily found.
While there aren't any major problems and gaps, some minor ones include answering questions during exam conditions. As his upcoming exam will have a lot of students, it can be daunting and may cause nervousness. Pun must learn to practise doing sample papers in exam conditions (eg: setting a timer of an hour to complete one sample paper) Additionally, meditation techniques or deep breathing exercises may help him on the exam day to help him bring the best of results.
Thanks for your follow up. All seems to be going well so far . Anthony seems quite comfortable with Max and I think a little more confident . Of course it's still early days so we will assess his progress again soon.
Cassie is great! Ashley is already showing improvement in class and is happy with Cassie as she is easy to understand and can relate to her well. Thank you
Very happy with Luke at the moment. Billie seems keen and is interested in what Luke is showing her. That's a step forward for her when it comes to Maths.
