Learning science takes a lot of effort. Students not only need to know the content, but how they can use concepts, when they can use them and why it's the right approach in a given situation.
Scientific thinking isn't easily acquired, but the skills are useful across fields and many future careers are built on them. It's a fascinating field with many applications - that's why students choose to put in the time and learn it.
Most students manage to stay afloat or even excel at physics all on their own, they master most steps along the way. However, sooner or later everyone needs help.
Learning how to analyse and solve problems as physicists do is an enormous leap. So how can you get involved and make it just a bit easier for your child?
One way to lift the burden off your child's shoulders is finding someone who will be there when they need it. If they have someone they can relate to, with the right approach at the right time, students tend to achieve their goals easier.
This is how to get started.
Once you reach out to us we can allocate a local Burwood Heights physics tutor within a day or two.
We set up the first lesson at your home, whenever works for you, and we charge a simple hourly rate. The first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee.
Sounds simple enough?

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Ashley has gotten much better at solving problems aloud and this has improved her confidence. She asks questions related to the problem and shows that she understands the concepts, rather than just memorizing, by being able to solve similar problems that ask slightly different things and in different ways (e.g. financial mathematics questions). She seems to be very good at financial mathematics.
For the first time, she might be feeling completely lost as she literally has no context as to what probability is. I find her getting distracted and out of focus a lot. I fully anticipated this because even when I discuss probability with my other students (grade 8,9), they show the same behavior. Its just one of those chapters that is not well received by students. I can tell she is going through the same phase (she went on a "I hate everything about math" rant last tutorial haha)
My main concern with Jeremiah is the minimal effort he puts in outside of class hours. For real improvements to be made it is essential that he is doing the work out of the textbook and additional papers I am providing so he does not lose touch and can continue to grow his mathematical thinking.
So far we are very happy with Daniel. He has a good rapport with Minyu and she has a much more positive attitude towards Maths already which was one of my concerns.
We had a discussion with Osman's Tutor and she mentioned he is doing well and is enjoying the time spent with Erica, which is very important if he is going to learn. Thank you for your concern and follow up.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Ezymath and Natasha. During the half year's tuition, my daughter's English has been significantly improved. She also becomes more confident. I am very satisfied with Ezymath's service. I actually recommended ezymath to some friends, but not sure if they will finally find help from you.
