Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through WACE with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Butler to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Butler chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
I noticed some excellent improvements wit David formatting and transferring skills this month. With equations and inequalities, he is much more confident in setting out the work with a perfect mathematical structure.
She shows good correction skills when she figure out where were wrong. She always asking me questions if she had any troubles on understanding in Maths or English. She has good seeking help skills. But she needs to regularly review what she had learned on daily basis instead of simply relying on the tutorial every week. And she also needs to write down the procedures of each questions step by step but not just a answer.
Her only current issues are the areas she has left untouched for some time, but is picking up quickly in her revision. Nothing I've mentioned elsewhere in the report is of serious concern. She is always proven to be competent in the areas I've ended up setting homework in.

I have been very impressed with your company and its professionalism. Thanks so much for the time and effort you have invested into Grace.
Oh, we're very happy! Sup is a delight. Seb will, I expect be back up to average in no time and we may well then look at Sup for our 7yo, when Seb finishes. Seb is only slightly below average and at a selective school, so there's not much work to be done, but, Sup really is great.
Thanks for checking. Hendrik thinks Jacob is "cool" and is very positive about the tutoring. We are definitely going ahead.
