Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through VCE with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Cairnlea to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Cairnlea chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Rushil again, is good at talking aloud about ideas but his ability to communicate them to me is a little lacking. He repeats a lot of his ideas and needs to read back on what he has written in order to make a cohesive story or piece of writing.
Both her attitude and effort have been excellent this month, she has been enthusiastic for every lesson which has been great! Effort as stated above in 'Attitude' Her work habits have been good in lessons. She is always organised and has homework completed.
Vanessa needs to familiarise herself with memory triggers because I noticed that sometimes I need to remind her what solution to do but after that she knows how to solve the problem. Consistency. She got good results in her test but I saw some questions that I know we have solved together.

Thank you for touching base. I am really impressed with William's efforts to date. He has very quickly worked out Layla's weaknesses and the areas that need attention. I also believe that his strategy of working slightly ahead of schedule and thus getting her 'in front' in some areas will help with her confidence in class. Layla is also receiving additional Maths support in school and combined with William's efforts, I am confident that we should see her Maths results improve.
Very happy with John. Would like Jackson to have more lessons with him but can't get Jackson to agree to it as yet! Working on him. May ask John to help out with science and possibly English as well in the future if he has time.
Ezy maths tutoring was just what we were after for Zena. We tried a couple of other tutoring companies before ezy maths tutoring but one we had to travel to to get there and the other offered us a young and inexperienced tutor, tutoring is more than knowing about the subject it is being able to teach it. Ezy maths tutoring offered us with everything we were looking for, reasonable pricing, at home tutoring and of course an excellent tutor. We found 'Tara' to be patient and understanding and Zena went from a D to getting B's and C's. We were very happy, thanks to Tara and ezy maths tutoring.
