Getting through 12 grades of school has its challenges. From actually passing exams to building intellectual independence to figuring out what to do after high school's over. Everyone can remember some of the hurdles that came up during the school years of their life. We have 63 English tutors in Carina available to help your child overcome some of those hurdles. Private tutoring is all about a tailored approach, so whether your child needs to overcome some confidence issues, develop a study plan, prepare for exams or comprehend some specific trouble topics, we're here to help. And, what helps the most is having a good student-tutor fit, it's really a core ingredient that determines whether tutoring will help your child in the way you want.
So how does it all work?
The tutoring is done in your home at a time and day that is convenient. We want you to be super happy with your English tutor so the first lesson works as a trial: don't like it = don't pay for it. No extra charges, booking costs, cancellation fees, minimum requirements or anything of that sort. Pay for the tutoring time used at the end of each month based on a simple hourly rate. That's all!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Talking aloud, back checking, pen to paper, self questioning, ok to be wrong, confidence, note taking, good corrections, seeking understanding, avoid rule dependence, avoid lazy thinking and format skills.
Alyssa has grown with initiative and with confidence during my two months tutoring her. I've seen her make good guesses in her work when she's unsure which is really good because compared to when I first started tutoring her she would often skip questions a lot without having a go.
Did not strive to excel, minimal efforts in learning. Leave things to last minute and then depends on luck. He was given exam corrections as homework for tutoring but did not finish, rather rely on the tutor to give him directions and suggestions without attempting to solve the problems first. When I asked him to make an efforts to try, he could do it but normally did not want to.

As far as I know, the tutoring is going well. They actually meet at Sydney University library as it is a handy meeting point for both of them and a good place for them to work. I believe that they have a good understanding between them but I will talk to Georgina again today after her lesson.
Andrew is a great tutor, always on time & he is a very polite young man. He is very good at explaining & teaching Georgia short cuts. They get on well which helps & she is happy learning maths.
We approached EzyMath Tutoring as our son missed out on quiet a lot of maths in year 4 due to illness. We were given James as our tutor and he did a great job in catching Daniel up on all he missed. We would recommend EzyMath tutoring for anyone wishing to assist their children in maths.
