Sometimes a student just needs some help. Especially with maths! Maybe silly mistakes are the culprit, maybe there are gaps in knowledge, or maybe the student knows all their stuff but for some reason doesn't do well in exam conditions. Other students rely too much on memorizing rules and formulas instead of seeking understanding. Others struggle to find the confidence to make effort. There are really a variety of issues that cause sub-optimal grades. It can cause anxiety and unhappiness, but worst of all this can...

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Gabrielle has actively contributed to each tutorial session, she has positively engaged in answering questions and attempted questions by herself. Gabrielle has utilised some great learning strategies, such as setting out her work in a nice format, asking questions when needed, and correcting her mistakes. Gabrielle speaks aloud and engages with the work. She is going at a steady pace in terms of school coursework, keeping on track and asking for areas needing assistance.
Lauren's attitude could be better. She has expressed that she doesn't enjoy maths, however, I find that nearly everyone enjoys some area of maths. We just need to find out what that is. Effort is there when I'm tutoring her. I can tell she is trying her best to understand.
Josh has improved massively on the calculations he can do but the theory behind it still confuses him. It is hard for him to understand why we make the calculations that we do and to visualise the problem and solution. This becomes particularly obvious in graphs where he struggles to understand how to graph because he cannot understand why we use the process we do. I recommend more practice and perhaps even finding more help online such as Khan Academy if it is a persistent problem

I chose to work with EzyMath because it was very flexible and I could fit it around my uni schedule. Tutoring has really helped me learn how to explain concepts effectively and also greatly improved my leadership and communication skills. Witnessing my students' gradual improvement in not only their technical skills but their confidence in the subject was extremely rewarding. I would recommend EzyMath to fellow tutors and prospective clients.
I'm an older student studying nursing this term I had a maths calculation exam that required 100% to pass . As you can imagine I was "freaking out !!! " 100% are you crazy !!!!!! . Then I meet Lisa !! she was one of my favorite people !! she was punctual, organised , and willing to spend the extra time if needed ,Lisa researched and came up with numerous, exams ,test and quiz's and got me all sorted with all the necessary formulas that where need to get my brain working again . I actually believed I could do this . It was the happiest text I'd ever sent to notify Lisa I passed !! 100% Wow ,I would have not been able to do it with out Lisa's help .
Thank you for the report. I wanted to take a moment and thank you for sending Brady to our home to assist Laura with math tuition. He fit's in well and has a nice approach to learning for a young student. Very happy client.
