Learning Chemistry feels like learning a new language. It's hard in the beginning, you don't know what to look out for and even though you recognise things here and there that doesn't mean you can read a formula, let alone understand it. It's one of those subjects where it clicks or it just doesn't. Tutors we work with understand that. They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping...
They've been there, they had to overcome the same hurdle and they are passionate about helping others do the same. They know the pitfalls, where to spend that extra hour and what you need to memorise before you can completely understand a concept.
Local Carmel chemistry tutors are there to help your child reach that aha moment. They work around your schedule, at a time that's most convenient to you and your child.
It usually doesn't take more than a day or two before we can match you with a chemistry tutor in Carmel who not only knows their content but is there to adapt to your child's needs. Not sure what kind of support your child requires? We figure that out for you!
We offer simple hourly rates, no other charges or fees, and the first lesson comes as a trial to ensure you are really happy with the tutor.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Abbie has good grasp of the Math concepts and she has been seeking to understand what she has learnt so as to close up the gap. This is a very good sign as she is on the right track, having a complete knowledge of the whole topic.
Always positive and enthusiastic. Consistently puts in effort during lessons and with homework. It would be good if Tristan could find a bit more time between sessions for practice, perhaps just 10 or 15 minutes a day.
Just some fundamental strategies when new topics come up. Fundamental math strategies, being able to synthesise between different areas of maths and being able to recognise patterns within math problems. All of these are the strategies that I am currently working through with him to assist in his confidence when he comes across harder problems.
We are very happy with Katie and her style. She is giving Blythe confidence and this week Blythe has completed her homework with much less assistance!
Sessions are going really well. Hasnat and Charlotte are building a good rapport. She is very happy with the sessions, and they are communicating well. So all good!
Lille has taken well to tutoring so far and Jackie is a great match for Lille so we are happy.
