No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Clarence Park chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Clarence Park, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Jasmine is willing to learn. She always asks for clarification on a topic if she still is confused and will ensure she fully understands it before we move on. She keeps a good workbook making it easier for her to check back on for studying. Jasmine talks through the problems well
Cooper always has a positive attitude towards tutoring, listens and asks questions when he needs help. He does tend to argue back when I say his answer is wrong but quickly realises his error which is fine.
Lack of concentration is leading to silly mistakes. Whenever there is a mistake, I make sure the student rechecks his attempt and find his own mistake. This would help him identify the kind of silly mistakes he is making and work on correcting them. Even the confidence level due to lack of understanding. This would get better with time only.
All good! Boys very happy with Josh. He has certainly helped their confidence and that is the start to better marks.
Yes Daisy is a good tutor and seems to work great with the younger children. I was very happy with her for David.
I've not actually met Tevita myself but both Ashleigh and my husband Adam have nothing but good things to say about him. Ashleigh is very happy with his tutoring so far and seems to have a better understanding of the maths subjects she is doing.
