Learning science is full of twists and turns. It's about making embarrassing mistakes, overcoming setbacks and chasing those exhilarating aha moments. If they want to achieve great results students need to put in the time, but they also need to learn at a quicker pace - a learning pace that might not be completely comfortable to them. Some students get to the finish line quicker and some students struggle along the way.

This is exactly when they can benefit from guided learning the most.
We work with great physics tutors in Colyton who can support your child's academic progress. There's always a test or quiz around the corner and with a great tutor guiding them, students tend to feel less overwhelmed.
Tutors are also great role models. It's all about the connection they make with the student. We've found that when a tutor and a child click - that's when learning happens.
That is exactly what we look for in a tutor, someone attuned to the specific needs of your child.
All we need is to have a quick chat with you. We organise a tutor to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
You pay a simple hourly rate. And if it happens that you are not completely happy with the tutor, we consider the first lesson a free trial. Then we keep looking for a better match.
Sounds good so far? We can start looking for a local physics tutor in Colyton right away!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
On the very first lesson taught her about talking aloud, backchecking, memory pegs, pen to paper and told her that its okay to be wrong. Specifically, I demonstrated to her how backchecking works by working around a small example with her, which she got wrong and explained to her how her answer could have been correct if she did the backchecking.
Francesco appears to have been focusing on other subjects at school, so his effort towards maths has fallen behind slightly. It will be beneficial if he attempts more problems from school along with extra material I give him for homework.
Thomas is still having issues in that he knows the procedure required, but not why the procedure is the way it is. This is important as it makes realizing his own mistakes a lot easier. This is because not knowing why you're doing a particular thing makes it hard to predict what the final results will be. Thomas is also still skipping through steps in class and at home but I can tell he is doing it less which is great.
Thanks for this. The first tutorial seemed to go very well. Jet was certainly very positive about Josh!
I just wanted to mention this to highlight how good Ming has been. He has been able to maintain Mitchell's learning and interest in Maths were his classroom teacher has failed. So a big thank you to him, and to you for providing a great tutor.
Raj has been excellent & Chloe's teachers have really noticed an improvement. I will recommend Ezy Math to everyone! Thanks for that.
