Getting through 12 grades of school has its challenges. From actually passing exams to building intellectual independence to figuring out what to do after high school's over. Everyone can remember some of the hurdles that came up during the school years of their life. We have 78 English tutors in Elizabeth Bay available to help your child overcome some of those hurdles. Private tutoring is all about a tailored approach, so whether your child needs to overcome some confidence issues, develop a study plan, prepare for exams or comprehend some specific trouble topics, we're here to help. And, what helps the most is having a good student-tutor fit, it's really a core ingredient that determines whether tutoring will help your child in the way you want.
So how does it all work?
The tutoring is done in your home at a time and day that is convenient. We want you to be super happy with your English tutor so the first lesson works as a trial: don't like it = don't pay for it. No extra charges, booking costs, cancellation fees, minimum requirements or anything of that sort. Pay for the tutoring time used at the end of each month based on a simple hourly rate. That's all!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
-Talk aloud is good, but be careful it doesn't turn into second-guessing yourself (same as back checking) -Putting pen to paper pretty good, just watch communication skills (writing equal signs, making everything legible especially when cancelling in fractions) -Remember that it takes several times seeing a concept before you understand it - not getting the idea (especially with tricky concepts like in sequences and series or index laws) straight away does not mean you are bad at maths
Fletcher generally works well in tutorial sessions, though he still could develop a bit more of a positive attitude towards learning math. More consistent effort with math homework during the week would help him solidify some of the concepts he has learnt over the term.
Times tables are still an area for improvement in particular with 7 & 8s. I would also like to see Antione practice talking out loud a bit more in our lessons which will help him answer questions more clearly and also allow me to understand how he thinks and what techniques are working.
Shannon did really well with her entrance exam and it was for that reason I contacted you. Her confidence has doubled since her tutoring with Daniel began, so for that I am truly grateful. Daniel was a great tutor who related well to Shannon. He has taught her some valuable strategies. He is also a lovely boy so he deserves a lot of credit. Thank you for the organised way you delivered the service. I have recommended your company to others so hopefully you will hear from them.
Sarah is great the tutoring is going really well and Anjelika looks forward to her classes :)
Just thought I would let you know Eden received the highest mark in her math class for the year common test. The teacher was very impressed and I had one very happy daughter.
