Learning biology is cumulative. Like learning mathematics or other science subjects - it's important to understand the basics before you can tackle complex concepts.
While most students have the right idea on how to approach studying biology, they also need a little push to achieve their goals. We've found that all it takes is the right kind of guidance at the right time.
The local Evanston Gardens biology tutors we work with are there to assist so that passing and excelling at biology doesn't seem like such a hurdle. What we look for is someone who can adjust to your child's needs, who can observe their study habits and guide them through the learning process. So what does that mean exactly?
For instance, most students know they should go over past exams and take notes. What students also sometimes do is fixate on individual questions too much and even try to memorise them. While they know what they should be doing, they might not know how to do it. This is why tutoring is invaluable.
All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you to figure out what your child needs. We organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Evanston Gardens, at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate.
And what if you don't like the tutor? No worries, it happens from time to time and we understand that! That's why the first lesson comes as a free trial.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Amelia is making great progress with her work on equations and algebra. She's great at asking questions and seeking to understand what she's doing. She's also worked well to improve setting out her answers which allows her think more clearly about the question and helps when back checking her work.
Being only the second week back to school after the holidays, I am quite impressed with how willingly she returned to her study regime. Throughout each of her lessons, Shivi remained focused and attentive despite any challenges.
Lachie have a probelm in following up sometimes but it is only because previously he missed those steps and in most schools they do that. We are working on it and I and I am quite sure that these gaps will be gone soon .

It's got off to a great start, Beaux really likes Taran and she likes the way Taran explains things and shows her new ways of working things out. Taran has boosted her confidence and Beaux is actually able to do a lot more than we thought.
We are very happy with Thai and the tutoring set up. Massimo and Thai have established a comfortable routine and it appears to be working for everyone involved. I can see that Massimo's confidence has already improved and he has regained his motivation.
It's all going really well Beaux breezed through a recent test of percentages that she and Tara had covered and which she had previously struggled with before. I will certainly recommend you to anyone who may need tutoring.
