Every student needs help sometimes, and often that help is needed in English. From basics like punctuation, spelling and grammar right up to narrative writing, proof reading and literary analysis. The Australian curriculum is thorough and there are various challenges that pop up for students over the years. At some point most students could use some help and an English tutor does just that - help! Ideally that help comes before the student has formed a negative cycle or fallen into a no-effort habit.
What we do is facilitate that help as a home service, we'll organise an in-home English tutor in Fairfield East, or wherever it is convenient for you.
A local Fairfield East English tutor will come to you at a time and day of your chosing and offer tutoring help in a manner tailored for your child's unique situation. The first lesson works as a trial so that if your child doesn't connect well with the tutor, you don't have to pay and we can organise someone else for you.
The terms of service are super simple too. No contracts or minimum hours or cancellation fees or anything like that. You get charged a simple hourly rate. That's it.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Charlotte is fantastic at note taking, pen to paper, formatting skills, and correcting her work. The few problems that she does have involve rule dependence and not seeking understanding. While she takes excellent notes, she doesn't necessarily refer back to them when she's working through problems and she relies too much on rules and not necessarily trying to understand the concepts, which is the key problem a lot of students face in maths.
In the past few weeks, I have seen as well as the mother, the improvement in Jakes studies, His English, maths, legal and business management skills have all improved and he is up to date with everything.
Rachael advised she has a test in approximately week 7 which will be testing the content from both term one and term two. Rachael and I have together identified those subjects where she will require further assistance (i.e. simultaneous equations). Rachael acknowledges that she often struggles with content because she does not have the foundations unpacked. We will be aiming to unpack these foundations in the coming weeks.

Aiden is really happy with Faraz. He felt a bit awkward the first week but the interactions were much better the second week. Aiden finds it very useful because he needs guided revision (it's not necessarily about learning the content). Definitely a good investment!
The tutoring process through Ezy Math follows predetermined guidelines and criteria that enables a rewarding experience for both the tutor and student and provides adequate assistance for steady student learning.
Nohemi is great. A very professional tutor with an easy going personality. Brayden has found her lessons quite helpful and has no issues with her teaching methods. As school returns from holidays this week we will see how successful tutoring has been (to-date). If nothing else, I do believe Nohemi has increased his confidence in Algebra.
