Analytical skills - i would pay attention to my students strengths and weakness and tailor my tutoring to minimize their weakness and bring out the best in them Patience - I have worked successfully with a student with autism and attention deficit Adaptability - each student is unique in their ability and speed to absorb learning and i can identify and adapt to their individuality. Multi language proficiency - Aside for English, i can speak Mandarin, Tamil and Malay. Some native students may feel comfortable to relay what they don't understand about English words in their native language.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I don't hope to replace the school teachers completely. However 1 to 1 and smaller group engagements would help put in a more personal touch that would minimize the weakness of the student, bring the best out of them and build character (patience, resilience, analytical thinking) to supplement them to succeed in their education journey
