Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through HSC with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Harrington Park to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Harrington Park chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

Molly's overall attitude towards mathematics is positive. She is always eager to learn and is able to tell me her struggles in school. Molly puts a good amount of effort into all my lessons, she is always asking questions for clarification which shows that she is trying hard to apply herself and understand the mathematical concepts being taught to her. Molly completes her homework most of the time, however sometimes she does not try her best.
Jamie has been sick the past 2 weeks, so work will need to be done to make sure he is still up to speed with the rest of the class. James was up to date before missing school due to sickness, but may need some time to catch up again.

We have no doubt the extra tutoring with Mina got Jamison over the line for a solid band 6.
Tahlia and Jonah are getting along very well so far and Tahlia appears to be taking on board the information that Jonah is giving her. Tahlia is enjoying her tutoring sessions and it doesn't feel like an hour to her.
Dorcas is a very patient tutor, she has lots of experience and is good with children. She is willing to go the extra mile and my son has been improving under her guidance.
