What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

-I absolutely love interacting with children/youth, their unique perspectives and ideas always makes me smile. -The satisfaction of helping a student meet or exceed their goals brings me more joy than any other part-time/casual job I could possibly imagine. -The opportunity to refine my skills as a STEM communicator/educator and advocate which will no doubt be invaluable in whatever career I choose

-Encouraging students to do their best not just academically but in all other pursuits. -Providing not only excellent education in my fields of expertise but also providing tips and tricks on how to optimise exam performance that I've ascertained after sitting countless examinations myself. -I like to consider myself an easy-going and bubbly individual who is almost always cheerful; I think this gives me the ability to be extremely approachable to even the shyest of students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important a tutor can do for a student is to get to know and read them perfectly. This allows a tutor to know exactly what a student needs to excel, help them set realistic goals and knowing not only when to help but also when not to help, rather letting the student try and solve a complex question themselves without interference. As part of this, I also believe identifying the strengths and weaknesses of a student is the first step to placing them on the road to excellence.
