What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Engaging with a range of students, who all have unique strengths and weaknesses and being able to fortify those weaknesses
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Understanding of a students position, and the academic stress they may experience allows me to sympathise and better suit the teaching to what they need. Pacing lessons in larger groups to ensure no one gets left behind
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor, more than simply teach content, should be able to make their subject enjoyable, open and motivational for students. A successful tutor is one whose influence goes beyond the tutoring center, and drives greater change in the students academic and personal life. My own experiences with a great math tutor in high school supplement this view.

About Shumayl
Interests
I have a range of interests, ranging from geeky video games to fantasy novels in my book collection. But physical activity lately has been my main task. Basketball with my friends, going on walks at sunset are all things I really enjoy. And dinosaurs. I really like dinosaurs.
Favourite Subject
By a long shot, its mathematics. My biggest highschool regret is not doing ext 2 math and stopping myself at ext 1, which is all well and good as it seems my future university degree will heavily revolve around math regardless.

Would like to see some more growth in terms of indicies, which will only come from doing more work around it at home and with tutor. It is important ayden is confident in the topics we have covvered so he can stay ahead, as doing so will give him an advantage when it comes to test time.

There is some worry about his progress, although it seems to mostly be hindered by a lack of doing homework. Worded questions are also a struggle to wholly comprehend, but this will improve with practice.

Confidence is a big thing that many students struggle with. Neville would beenfit from trying to spout any random answer (even if its wrong, as long as its logical) rather than being quiet when unsure. He may also benefit from saying his thoughts aloud as it would help me gauge where he is at better.
