What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is building connections with students and encouraging them and helping them build confidence. I find it incredibly rewarding to see someone go from being unsure about a topic, to fully mastering it and solving problems independently. I really enjoy explaining concepts in different ways so they make sense, and I really believe that learning becomes much more enjoyable when students feel supported and encouraged. Being able to contribute to a student's academic growth and confidence is something I find genuinely fulfilling.

My strengths as a tutor are patience, clear communication of topics, and a really strong passion for mathematics. I am aware that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching techniques to suit their pace and style of learning so they feel supported and comfortable with the topics. When it comes to tutoring mathematics, I believe the most important role is to help students develop an understanding behind why formulas work and where they came from. I also believe helping students to understand the idea intuitively is crucial, as they can use this knowledge to ace their upcoming exams and homework assignments. Ultimately, I want my students to leave each session feeling more capable, motivated and independent in their learning.
