No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Kew chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Kew, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Over this last month, Roshni has demonstrated note taking, seeking understanding, good corrections, pen to paper, talking aloud and improvements in her confidence. With more tutoring, we will build on these skills to solidify optimal study techniques.
Mason's effort with homework has improved over the past couple of weeks, as he has been attempting some of his homework recently. However I would encourage him to start having a go at all of the questions on his homework sheet as it is good practice for the content we cover in class. At the moment he has only being attempting a few of the easier questions on his sheet. During lessons, he does listen and work well.
5/4/18- Did well with Perimeter composite shapes and circles. More practice with Circle arcs perimeter calculations. 12/4/18- Compound Interest concept and how to interpret the periodic interest charges for each term.

Patrick is such a wonderful young man and he and Reece really work well together! I have also engaged your business for my daughter also.
Yes , I am very pleased with Ed. Early days and my daughter has been a little reticent and awkward about having a tutor however I am going to make her stick it out . I however, am very pleased with Ed and his approach with Olivia Look forward to seeing some results in the near future
I'm very happy with the progress that Abbey is making with Isabel, Isabel had lost most of her confidence in her ability to do her school work. Abbey's positive approach to Isabel's work is starting to reflect on Isabel.
