What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy working with people to help them understand concepts intuitively. My view on teaching has been shaped by my experience with great teachers who had innovative and excellent teaching methods. It gives me a sense of achievement and self satisfaction when I am able to help a student truly understand a concept rather than memorising it. Tutoring also helps me keep my mind sharp while challenging me as a lot of students will ask questions that I never asked myself or might not always know the answer to. I feel like learning is actually the most enjoyable and important part of teaching.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I usually have a strong gasp on the topics I offer to tutor - Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. I always encourage questions as they challenge me and help the learner understand the topic better. I am very passionate about teaching and truly enjoy it.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to learn alongside them. This inspires and encourages a student to be themselves and ask questions openly. Moreover, it helps the tutor become more approachable to the student. Other things that are quite important include: Not being afraid to admit that you need to look into something, teaching concepts more intuitively before diving into textual definitions which makes science less scary and more fun for students.
