Chemistry is just one of those subjects, it either clicks or it doesn't. Many students find maths and physics easy, but when it comes to chemistry they just feel lost.
And it's understandable. It can be challenging to connect the concepts to real-life, see how it all relates to their day-to-day. When they're struggling, students tend to give up easily and at some point, they stop trying altogether.
If your child doesn't catch on right away, or maybe they consider chemistry a complete waste of time, it can be hard to convince them otherwise. What we've found is that students react better when it comes from someone who they can relate to.
They react to mentors, someone closer to their age, who shares the same experience. That's why tutors are in a unique position to help a student grow.
That's why great tutoring can make such a big difference.

Eray currently tries bopth Talking aloud and Back checking He is more strutured than before and write the problems more I have given him homeworks most of the time and he always tries and next day we look into what went wrong .
Never has a bad attitude towards doing the work set out despite not being overly enthusiastic about mathematics. Always willing to try even when he may feel lost however he may lose focus from time to time. Can tend to misinterpret written questions and get certain ideas mixed up but has been developing more good habits since the start of tutoring.
We covered several harder topics in the past couple of weeks. He seemed to struggle a little bit with t-formulae which was understandable given the difficulty. One thing in particular that he struggled a little bit with is simplifying equations and finding a common denominator. However by the end of the last lesson he seemed to have improved in this area. No real problems except the content related ones.

I am very happy with Kavan, he is a great tutor, very patient and extremely intelligent.
We contacted Ezymath tutoring for assistance for my daughter in Year 12. From the start the company provided a professional and helpful service. Our tutor Tako was excellent. She was reliable, extremely knowledgeable, an excellent teacher and went over and above her hourly sessions. The format was formal with structured outline of each session with regular parent feedback. Would highly recommend this tutoring company.
I'd care to share something with you. Whilst our son, Jordan has yet of course to complete his HSC and not wishing to tempt fate, his trials are over. Last year, Y11 he received the award for #1 ranking in general maths. Unfortunately his teacher moved overseas and let's just say the relationship between him and his new teacher wasn't as before. His ranking swiftly dropped to sub 15! To compound matters, 10 students during Y12 dropped down from 'advanced' to 'general' pushing Jordan's overall ranking to sub 20. Then we came to you for help. Since Jordan has been studying with Suraj his standards steadily began improving once again and we're extremely happy to report that Jordan's overall trial's exam results pushed him up to 4th. Remember, this included those who dropped down to 'general.' Now that's a positive outcome. Naturally, full credit must go to Jordan but without your assistance we would be facing a very different outcome.
