Learning biology is cumulative. Like learning mathematics or other science subjects - it's important to understand the basics before you can tackle complex concepts.
While most students have the right idea on how to approach studying biology, they also need a little push to achieve their goals. We've found that all it takes is the right kind of guidance at the right time.
The local biology tutor in Lysterfield South we work with are there to assist so that passing and excelling at biology doesn't seem like such a hurdle. What we look for is someone who can adjust to your child's needs, who can observe their study habits and guide them through the learning process. So what does that mean exactly?
For instance, most students know they should go over past exams and take notes. What students also sometimes do is fixate on individual questions too much and even try to memorise them. While they know what they should be doing, they might not know how to do it. This is why tutoring is invaluable.
All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you to figure out what your child needs. We organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Lysterfield South, at your home. There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate.
And what if you don't like the tutor? No worries, it happens from time to time and we understand that! That's why the first lesson comes as a risk-free trial.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Talking aloud, asking himself'What is the issue here?' after reading the question, has helped increase the accuracy of the first line of workings in answers. If this first line is correct, there is a much increased probability of the final answer being correct. He must remember to underline the key information in all worded questions (at school and at home) as we have done through the lessons.
Coopers attitude coming into every session is very positive. This month has seen a great improvement in Coopers attitude as he is now more confident in himself and his work, however when he becomes stuck on a question his confidence in himself can still get shaken. I've noticed this month that on some days when I see Cooper he can seem quite tired and sleepy.
Aali's problem areas are mainly to do with her confidence and practise with her foundation math skills such as times tables and general number facts. Once Aali is able to realise her strengths, it will result in proficiency in her abilities.

I have been extremely pleased with our ezymath tutor, Lawrence. Apparently "he knows everything about maths". He has worked diligently and patiently with my daughter and has managed to keep her focused throughout each lesson. I also found the reports he provided about her progress detailed and considered and very helpful in providing feedback about her strengths, gaps and progress. I found ezymath tutoring very professional and easy to deal with. There were no contracts, which makes it very flexible, the price was reasonable and the tutor came to our house. They provided a tutor who was current with the HSC curriculum and very knowledgeable about his subject. The feedback reports that were provided at the end of each term were very detailed about all areas of the learning - both the positive and the areas she needed to work on. I would definitely recommend ezymath tutoring to other parents - it has been a very positive experience....
Bethan, gets on really well with Sydney. Sydney is enjoying her lessons and she is already getting a better understanding of her maths.
Marcos seems great, Oliver is very happy. Difficult time with HSC on near horizon, so the assistance with exam prep and technique is helping immensely.
