The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
To avoid careless mistakes, it would be best if Jasmine practice underlining/highlighting keywords in the question. For example, when answering questions involving perimeter and area, she needs to establish whether the question is asking for area or perimeter and then use the appropriate formula.
Phoebe has a very positive attitude towards maths. Phoebe puts a lot of effort into her maths, which is really good to see. Phoebe always brings her books to sessions and completes homework.
There were initially some small gaps in the areas of fractions/decimals/percentages and in algebra but Maddie has worked hard at these topics and now performs well. Maddie has minor problem areas in algebra and made some mistakes in her past exam paper, but we have gone through these together and Maddie now has a better understanding of both algebra and the previous exam topics.
Hi everyone. i am a former tutor at Ezy Math Tutoring. I worked as a tutor while enrolled as a student at the University of Wollongong. The selection process for entering the EzyMath Tutoring team was meticulous and involved a written exam as well as an interview. I can honestly say that the recruitment staff at EzyMath Tutoring team takes utmost care to select only the best candidates who have proven record in mathematics. EzyMath Tutoring gave me a wonderful opportunity to coach younger students not only in the subject of Mathematics but also Chemistry, Biology and Physics. The fortnightly Continuous Education Program (CEP) modules helped me become not only a better tutor but also a better student. The modules on self-belief, the different types of learning styles were interesting, intriguing and informative. EzyMath Tutoring has my highest recommendations for prospective tutors as well as prospective clients. 18th August 2012
