As our company name suggests, we want to make tutoring "Ezy" for parents, students and tutors! We're super passionate about education and especially about maths. Helping a student reach levels of accomplishment that were previously unknown changes their life and sets them up for long term success. It's a "feel good" experience for the student, for parents...and of course for us! Our testimonials are the inspiration that keep us going through hard times. Tutoring works well when it is consistent, reliable, flexible and easy to manage ... otherwise, for a combination of reasons, we don't get the impact we want.
So here's how the service works: We will organise for a local maths tutor in Ringwood to reach out to you and organise the time and day for the lesson. The tutor comes to you. You can have the tutoring as often or as little as you like. There are no booking fees or "extras" of any sort. You simply get an invoice at the end of each month for the tuition time used. Best of all, your first lesson works as a trial, so if for some reason the tutor isn't a good fit for your family, you won't be charged for that lesson!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
This is my first lesson with Ullrich before the end of the month and I've looked at some strategies to help Ullrich feel more confident with making mistakes and learning from them. Ullrich takes good notes and is working hard. He needs the confidence to know his work is correct and the answers will be right.
She has excellent attitude towards class. She is very motivated and enthusiastic. Excellent in most areas. Still encouraging double checking all of her work and being careful of small mistakes
Taylah has done well understanding how to expand equations with brackets. We have also worked on factorising equations which needs a little more work to build Taylah's confidence. Taylah has also done very well remembering what nouns, adverbs, pronouns, etc. are. Taylah often says that she is unable to do a maths problem after a quick glance although when we step through it together she can do it. Taylah must build the confidence to attempt a question herself.

Thanks Gene, so far, Jamie's response has been very good. He has had 2 lessons to date, as last week was cancelled at our request (he was away on camp). Jamie has responded very well to Eshan, who's approach is unassuming, gentle, but persuasive and constructive. Jamie actually looks forward to spending time with Eshan to teach him his Maths strategies. We look forward to seeing Eshan again next week. Thanks also for the newsletter. I have to say that I think your supportive written material is very useful!
All is great with Nathan. He's a lovely man and April has her block testing for maths tomorrow and she's confident- a good sign. April will now have a couple of weeks break due to holidays but Nathan will certainly be coming back. April quietly winges about the homework Nathan sets for her but we don't interfere and are glad that Nathan makes sure its completed as April's attitude to maths was pretty bad.
Anne is loving tutoring and James is doing an amazing job so yes we are very happy and wish to continue!
