The value in a one-on-one private English tutor is that they can focus entirely on your child and organise lessons around their specific goals and challenges. With the right support mechanisms every student can succeed. And ... that success is often life-changing for students, it serves as undeniable proof that if they apply themselves they can achieve success where they previously failed. It's just about the best lesson a young person can learn.

Madi has improved in her overall use of learning strategies that promote effective problem solving. The greatest improvements are in Talking Aloud and Back Checking. We have started to work on other learning strategies within the last few lessons, including Pen to Paper, Self Questioning, Ok to be Wrong and general boosting of Madi's confidence in her own maths ability.
Abbie's attitude has remained very positive towards her studies, and has allowed her to ensure she learns and performs to her very best! Abbie's level of effort did not waver in the approach to her exam period, and will serve her well in the year to come. Abbie's work habits have been consistent and solid, and she has used her study time wisely in the lead up to exams.
He's capable and smart, but he has a few wobbly concepts that will hold him back if he doesn't commit to solidifying the concepts first. For example, timetables and aligning which numbers are 10,000s, 1,000s, etc. Noticed recently that he struggles with translating numbers in digits to numbers in words and visa versa. Will have to continue to work on these basics because the moment he has them all completely sorted, he'll be able to fly and won't be held back in class in any way.

Anusheel been tutoring Ramin for a few sessions now and as you said it will take a few months to notice. However, so far Ramin is happy. He is having his year 11 final exam this week and Anusheel is doing a good Job, thank you.
Hello Erica, Thanks for touching base. Isabella is great. She's gelled really nicely with Meg, who is already saying that for the first time she understands why things are done a certain way, rather than just being told to do it. I'll let you know if any issues arise but at this point I can't see any at this stage. Cheers
