Learning science takes a lot of effort. Students not only need to know the content, but how they can use concepts, when they can use them and why it's the right approach in a given situation.
Scientific thinking isn't easily acquired, but the skills are useful across fields and many future careers are built on them. It's a fascinating field with many applications - that's why students choose to put in the time and learn it.
Most students manage to stay afloat or even excel at physics all on their own, they master most steps along the way. However, sooner or later everyone needs help.
Learning how to analyse and solve problems as physicists do is an enormous leap. So how can you get involved and make it just a bit easier for your child?
One way to lift the burden off your child's shoulders is finding someone who will be there when they need it. If they have someone they can relate to, with the right approach at the right time, students tend to achieve their goals easier.
This is how to get started.
Once you reach out to us we can allocate a local Sefton Park physics tutor within a day or two.
We set up the first lesson at your home, whenever works for you, and we charge a simple hourly rate. The first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Jordan has now well and truly understood and internalised the 3 key rules of talking aloud, back-checking and pen-to-paper. In the lessons he also feels more confidence in asking for help and confirming his understanding of the course content. At times he still tends to rush his work, which may lead to mistakes, but usually makes sure to understand what he's doing before doing things too quickly which is also very positive.
She shows good correction skills when she figure out where were wrong. She always asking me questions if she had any troubles on understanding in Maths or English. She has good seeking help skills. But she needs to regularly review what she had learned on daily basis instead of simply relying on the tutorial every week. And she also needs to write down the procedures of each questions step by step but not just a answer.
Michelle has very few gaps which is fantastic. The only minor gaps are volume and surface area formulae and a few graphing strategies. Michelle has very few problem areas. The only minor area would be taking a little more time to attempt difficult questions which are sometimes left blank.

Jillian is a fantastic tutor and has really helped Sam. She is flexible with hours and very accommodating. We are very happy with the tutoring
Jonathan is extremely happy with Jessica and how she has supported him in the three sessions they have already had together. His words following their initial session were, 'I wish she was my Maths teacher at school. She explains things so well.' I was very pleased that Jonathan felt this comfortable with Jessica. The issue of school holidays came up and I asked if sessions stop or continue during this time and Jessica said it was up to Jonathan and I. I asked Jonathan what he would like to do and he actually said he would like to continue the sessions during the holidays. I was surprised and very grateful that Jonathan feels this way, so we will continue through the holidays.
