But each student has their own issues, some with confidence others with silly mistakes or exam technique ...

Listen to them, understand where their problems lie, help them to understand the solution. My communication skills.

To give the student confidence in their ability to solve problems in relation to the subject matter. I am very patient with my students, and ensure that they fully understand the topic before moving on.

First of all, a tutor should have a friendly communication with his/her students. The other important factor is to mentor the students and try to keep a dynamic relationship with them. I have done the highest level of education level (PhD) and I have a strong background and experience as a teacher and tutor.

I consider the tutor's ability to empower the students to face and share the problems which they are not comfortable with as one of the most important things. I am bilingual (Mandarin and English) and due to the fact I am a current student, I am able to empathise with students as they are approaching new areas of study.

Tutors are both mentors and role models for students. I am easy to talk to and understanding.
