What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to witness the moment when a concept 'clicks' for a student. It's incredibly rewarding to see them gain a deeper understanding of a mathematical concept or problem-solving technique. I find satisfaction in helping students build confidence in their abilities and watching them overcome challenges.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Being a Computer Science major, I have a solid foundation in mathematical principles, which allows me to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner. My coursework has equipped me with a deep understanding of various mathematical topics, and I am adept at breaking down abstract ideas into manageable steps.
Also, empathy and patience is the key assets.I recognise that each student has a unique learning pace and style. I am patient in addressing questions and concerns, and I approach challenges with empathy, understanding that the learning process can be different for everyone.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Build the foundation: once they understand the basic concepts, then they will be able to understand the complex problems.
Guide them to solve problems instead of solving it for them yourself. Guide them through the solving process rather than simply providing answers. This helps them become more confident problem solvers.
Always encourage them and provide with feedback, offer constructive feedback on the student's work, highlighting both strengths and areas that need improvement
