What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The fulfilment of watching students grasp a concept and manipulate it for themselves. Its infectious joy observed as they overcome troublesome hurdles in their academic and non-academic lives due to input made by you as a tutor grounds this profession in my own mind one that has a more immediate purpose than most others. For this, I determine it my passion to tutor.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
The capacity to translate foreign material into knowledge in my student's mind in an enjoyable manner. By delivering subject matter through a variety of media such as online whiteboards, diagrams, spoken/written word, discussions, etc, I personalise the learning experience of my students into one that best suits their preferences, contributing to a pleasantly comprehensible lesson. Engaging, thus, with the student in the method that best promotes a personalised student-tutor connection enhances the receptivity of the student and lessens their chances of becoming distracted, simply via fun.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Not regurgitate the same information given on google or at schools regarding their difficult topics, but instead to approach the student and the lesson with the ambition to simplify complexities in your own intuitive way. This is with respect to the student's preferential medium for learning, which you as a tutor need to manipulate effectively to engage better with your student. As such, providing a fun lesson is also of critical importance, in order to make learning efficient and habitual.
