What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring as I love seeing my students succeed especially when they were struggling beforehand. Seeing the moment when they understand a concept and their face lights up is rewarding. Creating a relationship with the student and making an impact on their journey is an enjoyable experience for me especially at the end when I can see their growth academically.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are being able to create a unique connection to each student where their comfortable to make mistakes and tell me where they are struggling in. I am driven to see my students succeed and will help them as much as I possibly can. Additionally, I understand that each student is different and so another strength of mine is that I'm able to adapt accordingly to each student depending on their learning methods, strengths and weaknesses. Another strength of mine is strong communication skills where I can break concepts down so students can easily understand them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I consider instilling a growth mindset into a student is very important as that is the only way a student will see growth and start to succeed. With a positive mindset, students can embrace mistakes and see them as a learning curve to success. Additionally, building confidence in a student is also very important as it helps them overcome challenges and put in effort to strive further in their academic journey. This would also tie into motivating students to do well by setting milestones and celebrating their successes, no matter how small.
