What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I currently do not have any experience in tutoring but in high school, I did enjoy helping my peers and juniors in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. Specifically, I enjoyed adapting my teaching approach to different people, to enable them to understand the concept easily. I believe that by being flexible and taking advantages of the individual's strengths is important in also making learning fun and enjoyable. Overall, I believe the best outcome is when someone has learnt something new using their own means with guidance from tutors.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I also think it would be enjoyable to analyse and plan accordingly to each students performance to maximise their learning. I believe I am reliable and welcoming; able to build rapport with students is vital in helping them with their learning. Experience with helping peers with their homework throughout high school and have gone to tutoring services for 11 years (3 different tutoring services). Therefore, I have an insight into the strengths and weaknesses of each tutoring style via my peers and my own experience.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Providing individualised resources, feedback and guidance a student needs to learn and thereby developing the necessary skills to resolve problems by themselves (important in tests and examinations).
