I think knowing that you are able to make a difference in someone's learning process. Watching someone improve over time as a result of the work you have done with them is really rewarding.

As a student myself, I am very detail-oriented and I like to make sure I really understand the content in order to successfully apply it to testing situations. I think this translates as my strength as a tutor, as I am able to find ways to help others develop a strong understanding of the learning content as well.

I think the most important thing is approaching learning with compassion and patience. It is really important to consider that not everyone learns best with the same teaching style, and can process information at different paces. I think it's important to understand each person's learning style; if they are not understanding what you are saying, you just need to find a different way to say it.
