I actually left school early after completing year 10 so that I could enter the workforce. I have filled a number of roles over my career beginning in sales, a role I undertook for 7 years. After this i transferred to transport and logistics for a short stint before moving on to training carpet cleaners. I left that role after 3 years to enter marketing and advertising which I didn't like very much. At this point I re-evaluated my position and decided to return to my studies. Throughout the years I have tutored many of my younger family members in a number of subjects to great success.
I returned to my studies by completing a HSC equivalency at TAFE in which i scored top marks (including a 100% physics mark not achieved in NSW in the prior 2 years). I was accepted into a number of universities to undertake an undergraduate degree in mathematical sciences including ANU but circumstances at the time forced me to stay in Sydney and so I selected Macquarie University. After studying Maths for a year I switched degrees to A bachelor's of Physics majoring in Astrophysics and minoring in Mathematics and Computer Science which I am still engaged in. In addition to being a student I am also a staff member at Macquarie University where I supervise outreach sessions to the general public, primary and secondary school students and scouts groups engaging them in maths and science (particularly astronomy and astrophysics). While at university I have also tutored fellow students and received positive feedback.
Once I complete my undergraduate degree I hope to be able to undertake a Master's degree in high school education with which I would like to become a Maths/Science teacher in Rural NSW where I can hopefully have the greatest impact. So even now my focus is on educating the youth of today to empower them to become the best versions of themselves when they step out into the world

I still haven’t seen any of his recent test results, and we need to continue strengthening his algebra. It's important for Mohamed to understand that his scores will directly reflect the amount of effort he applies in his studies. If he wants better scores, he has the tools, he needs to apply more effort. There is so little time left, he needn't apply that effort for long but the more he applies the bigger the difference it will make.

Jasper has a solid mathematical foundation to build from. This will allow us to focus early on higher-level skills such as study techniques, structured revision, and complex problem-solving.
We will continue to assess Jasper’s areas for improvement over the coming weeks as we build a clearer picture of his strengths and weaknesses.
