That goes double for science subjects. Physics is tricky - the demands are getting increasingly complex. On top of that, you want to know that the person guiding your child through the content, is also someone your child can rely on.
Not all parents know what to look for in a tutor. Not all parents have the time.
That's where we can help.
We provide one-on-one physics tutoring in Liverpool. All we need is to have a chat so we can figure out what kind of support your child needs.
A good tutor observes how a student learns, offers encouragement and shows them how to stay on task. A good tutor also knows when to step back. That way, in the end, students not only get the grades they want, but they also become independent learners.
That is what the tutors we work with aim for - students standing on their own two feet.
So what's next?
Once you reach out to us we set up the first lesson with a local Liverpool physics tutor. You pay a simple hourly fee.
The first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee to make sure you are completely happy with the match.
As simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Coming up to end of year tests, Eleanor and I have been working on ways to remember and confirm simple theorems and laws without relying on rote learning. We've also been working on being able to identify places where errors commonly occur and slow down and think carefully to compensate.
Excellent Excellent Nerys is very hardworking but her study schedule, especially with test preparation, needs to be more organised. She should be going through her textbook a few days before each test and identify study priorities, as very little can be done the night before.
Understanding of the differences between powers and roots improved. Ability to understand the required information from word problems will help boost confidence. This will be a new focus area for July. demonstrates ability to work through the homework using 'template' solutions but needs assistance in breaking down the requirements of some questions.
Great Tutoring and marks are an improvement. Thank you for your persistence and patience!
The tutoring is going quite well. We were really impressed with his proactive approach in asking for her naplan results and course outline from her teacher so he work in line with what she will be learning in class.
I would like to thank you for allowing me the opportunity to tutor this year. I have mentored a bunch of wonderful kids who have all made great improvements with their grades and work ethic. In addition, I have seen them become more and more confident with each lesson which has been incredibly rewarding.
