While her accuracy is good, she is still working a little slower than expected, particularly under test conditions. Incorporating more timed assessments into our lessons will help improve her speed, build confidence, and prepare her for the pressure of timed exams without compromising accuracy.

She grasped the spelling concepts very quickly and showed a strong understanding of the logic behind homophones, prefixes, suffixes, and silent letters. She was able to apply these rules confidently during the lesson and demonstrated good reasoning when working through unfamiliar words.
To continue improving, she would benefit from greater exposure to a wider range of vocabulary through regular reading and comprehension activities. We will also place more emphasis on spelling tests and targeted spelling exercises to reinforce word recognition, spelling accuracy, and long-term retention.

She completed the majority of her fraction homework correctly, showing a good understanding of the concepts overall. She also engaged well with the introduction to algebra and was able to understand the new terminology introduced during the lesson.
She occasionally became confused when converting between mixed and improper fractions and sometimes forgot to simplify her final answers completely. As algebra is a new topic, we will continue building on these foundational concepts over the next fortnight with additional examples and practice to strengthen her understanding and confidence.

She did well overall despite the test being quite challenging. She approached the questions with a positive attitude and was able to solve a number of problems correctly. She showed a reasonable understanding of the concepts covered and was willing to attempt unfamiliar questions.
The assessment was quite difficult, and we only had enough time to complete approximately half of it. With more practice and continued exposure to similar questions, she will become more confident and improve her speed and accuracy when solving more challenging problems.
