What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy watching students starting with a limited understanding in mathematics slowly grasp the foundational concepts surrounding the subject, subsequently branching out into more complex topics. At this stage it is quite fulfilling when I have created enough enjoyment in the subject, that students voluntarily research topics to reach greater knowledge.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I enjoy transforming seemingly difficult topics into fun and engaging lessons that children will clearly understand and remember. My favourite educational tool for engagement is the whiteboard, as it aids in the collaborative process between the tutor and the students, as students are able to make mistakes in front of each other and learn together.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor should assist the student in establishing confidence in a subject, by building independ thinking and a well rounded understanding of topics. This being said, it is not realistic to expect every student to achieve a high band 6, the progress that is made from the beginning of their learning process to the end is what counts the most, so when I take a band 2 student to a high band 5, or a band 5 student to a band 6, it is the amount of progress that matters most, and is without a doubt the most important thing I can do for my students.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
