Isaac trys to do too much work in his head without writing down his working, this causes him to get muddled up and make mistakes he wouldn’t normally make. Moreover, when I was teaching him methods to shorten the time it would take to reach an answer as he was conscious of time constraints, it often lead him into deeper confusion, so Isaac needs to neglect the time to do the problem, following the fundamentals he knows well which will allow him to reach an accurate answer
