Its good to be able to use a formula or understand how mathematical theories work but if you do not understand the fundamental blocks of which that concept is built on you will not be getting very far. The only thing is the multiplication algorithm, though in my opinion it is the hardest. Isaac can do it, but it sometimes takes longer than it should, but speed is not a priority

Finding the lowest common factor is still a bit of a problem, though this is a hard concept and will take time to master.

Just identifying what needs to be done and when. And watching out for exceptions to the rule such as when the 24 hour clock is at 0:00 or 12:30 in the afternoon.
