About Priyal
education background
I began my academic journey in Uganda, where I completed my high school education under the Cambridge curriculum, developing a strong foundation in the sciences. My passion for biomedical sciences led me to York University in Canada, where I pursued a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biomedical Science. During my undergraduate studies, I actively engaged in research, volunteer work, and internships that broadened my understanding of healthcare and forensic applications. After graduating in April 2021, I gained hands-on experience in various roles, further solidifying my interest in forensic science. To advance my expertise, I embarked on my Masterโs in Forensic Science at Murdoch University in Australia, where I am currently in my first year. My dedication and academic achievements earned me a scholarship for 2025, allowing me to further explore my passion for forensic investigations and their role in the justice system.
Tutoring experience
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have had the opportunity to gain valuable tutoring experience, which has allowed me to help students succeed in various subjects. In 2021, I worked as the Director of Education at Sylvan Learning, where I was responsible for designing and delivering personalized tutoring sessions for students in subjects like math, reading, and science. My role involved working closely with students to identify their learning needs, develop customized lesson plans, and monitor their progress, ensuring they reached their academic goals. Additionally, in my role as an Early Childhood Educator (2023-2024), I was able to further refine my tutoring skills by providing individualized support to young learners, fostering their cognitive and social development through tailored activities and guidance. These experiences have equipped me with strong communication and problem-solving skills, which I continue to apply in my tutoring sessions.
