What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students grow and enjoy a subject they previously felt was difficult. Watching them have A-ha moments where things click is incredibly gratifying and rewarding.

I can match my teaching to the student's level, pace and learning style in an engaging manner. Whether it is through using more visuals, media or simply an explanation that resonates with them, I am able to tailor my teaching for the individual student.

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them learn the framework and thinking behind solving the problems they come across in their subject. If a tutor is able to successfully teach this to their student, the student will be able to see real differences in their knowledge of their subject as well as their grades. On top of this, it is vital to create an environment where the student feels comfortable making mistakes and one where they feel like the lessons are personalized for them.
