What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to make complex concepts accessible and meaningful for students, particularly Economics. I find great satisfaction in seeing students develop confidence in their understanding and apply what they've learned. Teaching has always been a skill I’ve honed, and through my work with IB students, I’ve further refined my ability to engage and collaborate with students in learning environments. The process not only strengthens my communication and adaptability but also deepens my own understanding of the subject.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my key strengths as a tutor is patience.I understand that every student learns at their own pace, and I’m committed to creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I'm also skilled at breaking down complex Economics concepts into clear, manageable parts, which helps students build a strong foundation. My ability to adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs allows me to connect with students effectively and help them reach their academic goals.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to build their confidence and foster independent thinking. A good tutor guides their student to understand the "why" behind concepts, helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This is essential in ensuring that the student is able to independently understand the subject moving forward. It's also important to be patient and empathetic in order to support each student’s individual needs so they stay motivated.
