What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy the most is the moment something clicks for a student. Stemming from my previous experiences as a private/commerical tutor, I've always found it reward seeing students go from "I dont get it: to "Ohh that makes sense". Seeing that I made a difference in both their learning and confidence encourages me.
Tutoring is also very dynamic, I'm constantly adapting my explanation to each student;s thinking style.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a result of my previous experience, I believe my strength in providing clarity for complex problems, whether it's be visual, verbal or example-drive, shines as I aim to adapt my explanations to how the student learns best.
Most importantly, It's my passion for learning. I genuinely enjoy the material I tutor and showing students that the subject can actually be interesting engages me more.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do include adapting to the student's learning and building their confidence. I believe my job isn't just to teach them the concept but encourage them that through practice, they will master them.
that means encouraging their progress, celebrating small achievements and helping see mistakes as a part of learning.
