What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to help students understand and work out the topics that they struggle with. I empathise with this as I am a student my whole life after all and love when teachers are helpful. I feel happy when students are able to learn something through my teaching, especially whilst showing great enthusiasm in learning.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
With more tutoring experience, I feel like I’ve gotten better at teaching difficult topics and explaining things more clearly, especially when I have a strong understanding of the subject myself. Apart from that, in my previous tutoring experience, I always try to build connections with my students. I don’t want the relationship to feel strictly like teacher and student. I always try to create a friendly and relaxed environment to make it less intimidating.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the greatest strength a tutor can have is the ability to understand each student's needs, such as identifying their weaknesses, documenting progress, and adapting lessons so the material really helps. Building a friendly relationship also helps students feel comfortable asking questions.
