About Caitlin
My personality and passions
I am very empathetic and compassionate. I want to make people feel comfortable, safe and happy and build a genuine connection! This makes me very easy to talk to and very encouraging for students especially. I am calm and patient, always bringing my positive attitude to all situations. Some of my hobbies include reading, painting, and playing tennis!
My education
I am currently studying a Bachelor of engineering (honours)/Masters of engineering at the University of Queensland. I am loving learning and working towards becoming an engineer! I am passionate about education, the ability to learn and developing a love for learning. It is such an amazing opportunity and as a tutor I love building confidence and passion in students for whatever they are learning. I love STEM, and I also love english and literature. I have been in many academic competitions (Junior Maths competition, Australian space design competition, Harvard Crimson essay competition), because I enjoy meeting other passionate people and getting to exercise my skills!
