What I enjoy most about tutoring is watching children develop their understanding of how the subject matter fits into their lives. Once we reach that point in any subject I teach, I truly value seeing children build the independence to take over their own learning journey, because they now understand the purpose behind what they are learning.

My strengths as a tutor include an ability to work effectively with children across different age groups, supported by a deep understanding of their diverse learning needs. I specialise in explaining complex concepts in ways that match each student’s level, helping them build genuine interest in the subject as part of their learning journey. With excellent academic achievements in Maths and over ten years of applying mathematical thinking as a software engineer across diverse domains, I bring both clarity and real-world relevance to my teaching. Most importantly, I focus on teaching students how to learn, building their confidence and independence, and the skills they need to manage and achieve their long-term educational goals.

Building a student’s love for learning is the most important part of education. When they truly enjoy what they are learning, they naturally reach their highest potential academically. I’ve seen this hold true for every child I’ve worked with, regardless of where they are on the learning spectrum.
