What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love sharing my knowledge with others and am eager to help students drive and develop academically. Working alongside others to help them achieve their goals is, to me, incredibly rewarding work.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm people-oriented meaning that I am great with children and enjoy engaging with students in an academic capacity. I'm hard-working and will put effort in outside sessions to create lesson plans catered to the students needs and to keep the younger students engaged. For higher grades, I will engage in the content they are working through, including the novels and content areas to be able to provide them with the most detailed feedback and advice that I can give them. I'm able to come up with multiple ways of explaining a single concept

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think it's incredibly important to be patient. People learn at their own paces and for those who struggle more than others, patience can help foster an environment where they feel comfortable expressing a lack of understanding in a concept and allows them to make the most of each tutoring session. It is also important to create lesson plans that directly focus on specific areas that the student may need to work on in order to see them develop the most they can. You should always give them the opportunity to ask questions and should understand what they are hoping to get from the sessions.
