What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Explaining difficult concepts to students, breaking down complex equations and concepts into easily understandable methods. I love interacting with students and listening to their ideas.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am a third-year engineering student, and I've usually been the person to teach math to my colleagues when close to final examinations. My strength is simplifying difficult-to-understand concepts into easy concepts. I usually try to make learning fun and memorable. I try to teach in a way that children would remember what I taught because learning the concept was fun. I especially love teaching in a practical sense.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Instead of simply teaching the concepts, a tutor should try to teach the student the logic behind the concept; he/she should try to simplify difficult concepts in a way students can grasp. Moreover, I think it's important that a tutor lets the student work on the problems first, let them brainstorm and develop their thinking skills instead of simply providing them with the answer. A tutor should make learning fun for students, because what the tutor teaches and the style could change a student's future, and of course, different children have different learning styles, so a tutor should adjust.

About Dinevmie
Who I am
I am a third-year engineering student at Deakin University Waurn Ponds. I am from Sri Lanka, and I completed my high school education in Sri Lanka. I completed my Ordinary and Advanced Level examinations under the Cambridge Assessment International Education Examination Board, and I obtained excellent results for math, physics, and chemistry. I am currently 19 years old.
My tutor experience
While I don't have any professional experience in tutoring, I have a lot of informal experience. I have tutored year 5 and 6 students (around 4 or 5 students), including my brother. I have tutored year 9 and 10 students who were completing their ordinary level examinations, and I have tutored my university colleagues multiple times before our end examinations. Each of the categories I have tutored has showcased excellent results after I was done with tutoring.
My connection to Ezymath
I am new to Ezymath, and I still haven't tutored any students yet; therefore, all my scores are still null. I am available for tutoring, and I am willing to give my 100% to my students and ensure that they excel in their grades while developing soft skills such as talking aloud, confidence, backchecking, and positive self-talk. I'm excited for this new journey.
