What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to build a strong rapport with each student, allowing me to understand their unique learning style and tailor my approach accordingly. I find great joy in simplifying complex concepts in ways that make sense to them, sometimes through storytelling, real-life analogies, or even gamifying the process to make learning more engaging. There's something incredibly fulfilling about seeing a student's face light up when they grasp something they once struggled with.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths lie in building strong connections with students and adapting my teaching to their individual learning styles. Through my experience at Camp Australia and as a volunteer educator, I've learned how to create safe, engaging environments where students feel supported. I'm patient, creative, and enjoy using interactive methods like games or storytelling to simplify complex ideas and keep learning enjoyable.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do are to build the student's confidence, tailor their teaching to the student's learning style, and create a safe space where questions are encouraged. A good tutor doesn't just help a student understand content, they help them feel capable, motivated, and supported throughout their learning journey.
