Lucy made excellent progress throughout the lesson. Although she initially found reading the clock challenging, her understanding improved significantly with practice. By the end of the lesson, she was confidently answering questions correctly and was eager to complete more questions.
Lucy would benefit from consistent practice to help retain what she has learnt between weekly lessons. I encouraged her to spend 5–10 minutes each day practising reading different times on a clock, particularly “minutes past” and “minutes to” the hour, to strengthen her confidence and understanding.
