What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Not only I enjoy interacting with the students, but I also enjoy working out with the students some strategies to tackle how to answer some questions.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

As someone who English is a second language, I can also sympathise how challenging English subject can be. I have also experienced challenges in year 11 and year 12 learning English and Mathematical methods, which the students often experience.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I consider the most important aspect of tutoring is to support the students through tough academic schedule, ranging from giving guidance, listening to their challenges and cheering them up whenever necessary.

About Kaoru

I sympathize with the challenges of secondary education especially for the international students.

I moved from Japan to Australia at the start of year 7. Although the secondary schools and subjects such as English are challenging, I can confidently say the harder you put effort into, the better you will be ready regardless of your pursuit for university or work.

I love tutoring especially mathematics and geography

I have done mathematics methods and geography which were two of my favourite subject, as well as English as an additional language. Overall, I have two years of tutoring experience both in Japan and Australia, mainly from year 7-11 students.

Passion for Education Supported by Real-World Interests

Beyond academics, Kaoru’s passion for environmental science fuels his enthusiasm for discovery-based learning. His involvement in citizen science projects and organising orienteering activities demonstrates his commitment to making lessons dynamic and memorable. Parents can expect Kaoru to inspire curiosity while helping students achieve concrete academic goals through thoughtfully structured support.
